We debated whether to include this fetish and decided that we would as the fundamental aspect is the restriction of the human body. The bondage fetish focuses on the restraint of a person to make them appear more vulnerable and submissive. In "acceptable" bondage all parties consent willingly to the process. However, where one or more parties are unwilling or even marginally reluctant then this fetish becomes a wholly unacceptable practice. Health Risk: There are so many health risks associated with this fetish and its extreme forms that it is hard to know where to begin. The "complex" form is where two people develop a fetish relationship. In this relationship one person becomes the feeder and the other the eater. At the time of writing this Google lists more than 1.3 million web results for the search term "pretty feet". It is also one of those fetishes that is (almost) harmless, clearly popular and yet rarely discussed amongst males. It seems that men are quite comfortable discussing their attraction to bizarrely large breasts or sexy thighs but to say that you are attracted to a woman's feet is to invite instant ridicule. And yet ... women collectively spend vast amounts of money on pedicures, heel softeners, nail varnish and other foot care products to make their feet look attractive (and young). Let's be honest - they're not doing this for their female friends. To put this in perspective; the cost of all the surgical breast enhancements and face lifts conducted every year would not equate to more than 5% of the value of the female foot care and beautification industry. It is estimated by a leading fashion magazine that women spend more on their feet than they do on their hands. (Excluding jewelry). One last point! Although this is a largely male oriented fetish there exists a significant (and growing) number of women that are now admitting an attraction to well-groomed male feet. Health Risk: It seems such a pity to have to add a health risk to this popular and simple fetish. However, it is important to note that feet are often the carriers of various forms of fungal disease such as athletes’ foot. This can be transmitted to other parts of the body such as the groin where it is known as Tinea Corporis / Tinea Cruris. Both are easily curable.
